Digital Retinal Photography
At Stone Road Eye Care, we offer high resolution digital retinal photography, using a computer-generated digital imaging system to record a detailed views of the retina. This image provides an excellent reference point for future comparisons and to detect any changes in eye health.
Digital retinal imaging assists in the detection and management of problems such as diabetic changes, macular degeneration, hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts and other diseases inside the eye.
Digital HD Eye Examinations
Here at Stone Road Eye Care, our optometrists conduct high definition eye exams using automated devices which provide greater accuracy in obtaining your prescription for glasses compared to the manual phoropter ("old school technology") that many optometrists currently use.
By utilizing this new technology, Stone Road Eye Care is better able to provide patients with a comparison of their new prescription for glasses immediately with their previous one through the single touch of a button (that is much more difficult to do with a manual phoropter). The benefits of this technology also makes the eye exam process less stressful on a patient.
Ultimately, the digital phoropter assits in obtaining a more accurate high definition eye prescription for the patient.
